The DC Circuit ruled that CEQ regulations implementing NEPA are invalid
Ricondo is tracking the landmark ruling that the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) does not have authority to issue National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations. This ruling is anticipated to disrupt ongoing and planned environmental reviews of airport development projects as federal agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), navigate the changing landscape of complying with NEPA in the absence of a regulatory framework. We will continue to strategize with our airport partners in response to this ruling, as well as participate in ongoing industry conversations and provide updates on this important matter.
