With 35 years of experience, John Williams is well-known for his expertise in airport environment and facility planning. Through the years, he has prepared and managed environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, airport master plans, airfield and airspace analyses, and on- and off-airport land use plans for airports in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. He has also supported unique environmental work, such as assessing the implications of a proposed heliport to service Grand Canyon tour operators. He is renowned for his extensive knowledge on issues related to airport noise vis-à-vis capacity expansion, and he has led various noise assessments and noise compatibility program updates for Boston Logan International, Harry Reid International (formerly McCarran), and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airports, among others. John is an active member of the Airports Council International–North America Environmental Services Committee.
