Since 2021, construction has been in progress for a new, innovative terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). Long before the groundbreaking, PIT was engaged with a team of developers, planners, and most importantly the Pittsburgh community to develop the new terminal. Since 2015, the terminal has been envisioned and designed as a new hub that will welcome home the Pittsburg region's residents, as well as visitors from around the US and the world.

“The architects involved in the new terminal design were very conscious, not just of the airport needs but the community needs and the region this airport sits in,” said Jim Jarvis, Senior Vice President at Ricondo.
