A 40-year aviation industry veteran, Ramon Ricondo founded Ricondo in 1989 with the goal of delivering the highest caliber of consulting services to airport operators and municipalities. For the past 30 years, Ramon has served as the company’s president, while actively serving clients with a focus on strategic planning, facilities/operations planning, and aviation demand forecasting. Ramon has participated in strategic planning studies—proposing, analyzing, and evaluating various alternatives over a 40-year planning horizon—at numerous US airports, including Chicago O'Hare, Miami, and San Antonio International Airports. Other strategic planning services focus on facility development strategies and air service, as well as regulatory and legislative issues.
Ramon is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, the Transportation Research Board, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He also served a three-year term, including a year as chairman, on the FAA’s Management Advisory Council, an independent group of nongovernment leaders created by the US Congress to focus on FAA policy, spending, funding, and regulatory matters affecting the aviation industry.
