Craig T. Leiner has over 30 years of experience in airport ground access planning. This includes developing and evaluating programs to encourage the use of transit by air passengers and airport employees. He was the project director for the feasibility analysis, environmental permitting, and business negotiations for the Boston Logan International Airport Consolidated Rental Car facility. He worked with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority on implementing bus rapid transit service to Boston Logan International Airport. This included reviewing vehicle specifications, identifying terminal curb passenger pick-up locations, and managing a free fare program. In addition, he managed a variety of surveys, including the triennial Logan air passenger ground access surveys and Logan Express passenger surveys. He is currently the Principal Investigator for the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) to study the impact of transportation network companies (TNCs) on airport operations and revenues.
