Chad Townsend is Ricondo’s terminal facilities and technical services chief expert, having led terminal planning at 7 of the top 10 busiest US airports and others in 3 European countries. He has served as project manager for Abu Dhabi Airports Company and oversaw the professional services contract at Los Angeles International Airport—including advanced planning for the new midfield satellite and the ongoing Central Terminal Area modernization as Los Angeles prepares for the 2028 Summer Olympics. Chad is also known for leading terminal modernization planning studies for the Seattle-Tacoma, Oakland, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall, Phoenix Sky Harbor, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airports; developing new terminal solutions in Kiev, Lviv, and Donetsk to prepare for the 2012 EuroCup; and addressing important security changes at Hartsfield-Jackson after September 11, 2001.
