Joel joined Ricondo in 2023 and brings 26 years of experience of implementing technology solutions to study and improve operational effectiveness for organizations in a variety of industries. At Ricondo, he created computer vision software to study outbound passenger processing and curb recirculation rates at Hamad International Airport (Doha, Qatar). He has also designed battery powered camera hardware deployed to collect traffic volume and classification data for terminal access roadways at Ontario International Airport. In addition to automating data collection from video, he has assisted Denver International Airport in understanding parking shuttle and deicing performance by extracting insights from disjointed and unwieldy datasets.
